About Me
Hi, I’m Tam. The baker behind Ngot PDX.
This whole journey started with my son. He discovered a love for cooking early on, and I found myself constantly reaching for my phone to film him in the kitchen whisking, chopping, tasting, always so curious and focused. Watching him explore food with such joy reminded me of how much I love being in the kitchen too.
His enthusiasm gave me the push I needed to start baking again, this time, sharing the kinds of Asian-inspired desserts I grew up with. The ones that aren’t too sweet, often simple, but full of heart and flavor.
Now, I make small-batch sweets inspired by the seasons, by nostalgia, and by whatever’s bringing me joy that week. There’s no set menu, no storefront. Just me, baking when I can, with lots of love.
Thank you so much for being here, for supporting this little dream of mine, and for following along on this journey. It truly means everything.
Your Kind Words

My extended family loved the tiramisus. The Durian Pandan Chiffon cake was a big hit with my Vietnamese side of the family! So glad I ordered 5, they ate it all I didn’t get a chance to get pics 🙂 Thanks again Tam!

Hi Tam!! oh my goodness, this next batch I got were so good!! If there was the matcha strawberry in addition, this trio of the coffee, mango, and matcha strawberry would’ve been my dream team!!! 🥰 I absolutely loved the coffee and mango tiramisus! I loved how the mango was sweet but not overpowering!! The Vietnamese coffee one was absolutely hands down one of my favorites, it was amazing and I hope the polls keep on boring for that! 🥰🥰 Can’t wait for the next drop!!

All of it was great! We ate the Vietnamese coffee tiramisu yesterday and are going to have the mango today. I love how they are just the right size for my wife and I to share. Thank you so much and looking forward to the next time! (My wife is hoping the Dubai chocolate makes a comeback.)
